The tour blog is up and running

It’s been over a month since I last posted, which means it’s been a while since I’ve been on tour.  As you know, I just released the EP and boy oh boy was it ever a goodie.  All of my efforts and energy of the last month have been dedicated to the release of this album.  Thank you all for coming out to the Rivoli.  Thank you wonderful musicians for playing with me.  Thank you Sacred Balance and Dr. Draw and thank you thank you Ed the Sock and Liana for hosting so beautifully.  What a special treat to have you.

But now I am no longer at home in our cuddly apartment with our two (yes two now) kitties and my sweet Feef (Felix).  Where am I?  Well not as far as last time I wrote, perhaps far away for those of you I met in Europe, but not for you Torontonians.

Oh how I love Montreal.  What a laid back, culturally satisfying city.

Just got home, home being Andrea’s place, from a night out with my good friend Hadi (Aka Rough Draft).  So sweet of him to introduce me to Kalamunity, an incredible evening of improve hip hop and spoken word.  So many talented artists vibing off of each other.

So inspiring.

After 3 shows here in Montreal,  and one in Ottawa I am again feeling the touring bug, the over excited and inspired – need to see more, be more, eat more, new new new everything.

Nothing is old and nothing is tired.  So many funny gut wrenching stories (do ask in person).

Off to Ottawa tomorrow for a show at the Rainbow Bistro with Anna Atkinson.  From there we will happily endure a sleepless weekend at OCFF (Ontario Conference of Folk Festivals) filled with music, schmooze, and red bull.

Can’t wait!!

Love you all!
